Senior Technology Manager, A&H Global Digital Partners-ref: TJ

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of digital capabilities to support the partnership programs at the global level, regional and country level
  • Identify and develop business requirements for partnership implementation in various countries, set prioritization and be the business lead for the digital capabilities roadmap in the following areas:
  • API Platform, Billing/Payments Process, Policy Admin System, and Digital Claims Service.
  • Lead the creation of solution roadmaps, appropriate for the combinations of distribution model and specific partner/country capabilities, achieving the right balance between impact, speed to market and cost vs benefit. These solutions, utilizing any appropriate combination of technology vendor or AIG’s internal technology infrastructure and resources, should enable faster speed to market, optimize return on investment, while maximizing customer experience and overall commercial impact.
  • Lead conversations with both external stakeholders (partners) and internal ones (e.g. IT, Ops, Business) to both identify/build the right solutions and also influence decisions.
  • Provide critical input and lead, where appropriate, to the development of a “Common as possible different as necessary” architecture and ecosystem.
  • Take a lead role in the implementation of major programs of capability expansion and/or technology onboarding and rollout of critical partnerships.
  • Assist, representing the business interests and viewpoints, with the planning and execution of critical IT investment, potentially beyond the scope of partnerships infrastructure.

 

Requirements

  • Prior working experience with digital platforms focusing on multi-partner, commercial integration (e.g. gig economy ecosystems, e-commerce, digital FinServ, telcos etc.), especially if combined with integrating insurance to this environments.
  • Prior working experience in Consumer Insurance with strong understanding of digital product and program management.
  • Strong understanding of API technology
  • Successful examples of digital insurance products implementation with large user base highly desirable, with emphasis on embedded models.
