Location: Central
Responsibilities
- Sets, leads and executes DM strategy for the business in Asia Pacific, working closely with the consumer distribution, claims, legal, operations and technology teams.
- Owns the full Direct Marketing Profit & Loss (P&L) Statement for company products in Asia Pacific.
- Sets strategy to maximize and optimize distribution opportunities, including through telemarketing and digitally.
- Holds product development ownership for DM products, including design of contemporary, differentiated and innovative product propositions.
- Full accountability for DM product pricing and underwriting strategies in Region.
- Manages DM product and portfolio profitability, monitoring performance and setting and executing remedial underwriting plans where necessary.
- Periodically reviews the DM portfolio to predict and prevent loss by identifying portfolio impacting exposure and/or vulnerability.
- Engages portfolio management and actuarial teams to ensure DM product and portfolio objectives are met.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Finance/Business and Insurance accreditations, or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft offices and computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
