Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commodity strategy, together with PPSC resin team. Clearly document and communicate sourcing strategies to guide our R&D and Ops partners.
- Own and develop the strategic supplier relationships.
- Ensure resin suppliers install sufficient capacities to support HP demand needs.
- Manage and negotiate resin pricing with suppliers. Drive cost savings. Perform required cost impact analysis or oil scenario study.
- Support SIOC and Print Ops team and establish a mechanism to track RCP usage for Print.
- Conduct market intelligence and provide necessary industry insights to key stakeholders.
- Develop business continuity plan. Optimize supply chain resilience and risk management.
- Negotiate the business agreement or contract with suppliers as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain related discipline.
- Hands-on experience (>5 years) in commodity management, sourcing, procurement or supply chain related function.
- Excellent planning, analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- People having prior experiences in resin, plastic or related industry would be preferred.
