Manager, Industry and Capability Development ( $4000-$6000/AWS/VB )ref: MT

$6K+ AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location:  South

Responsibilities

• Liaise with government agencies, partners and SCAL members on issues pertaining to WSH / Sustainability.
• Conduct surveys and studies for the development of policies and practices.
• Plan and organise regular subcommittee meetings, events and programmes for wider outreach.
• Assist and provide inputs on public communications related to relevant subcommittees.
• Possess knowledge of current industry practices to review and provide recommendations on practices for the construction industry.
• Prepare reports, monitor and follow up on industry engagements.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director or by whomever the Executive Director so designates.
• Ability to learn and grow with our organization

Requirements

• Degree in civil engineering or a built environment discipline.
• Minimum 5-8 years of working experience in the built environment sector.
• Possess construction industry knowledge (preferably in areas of WSH, sustainability etc).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
