Responsibilities
- To generate scientific/technical data using established systems and procedures and protocols in an area of work delegated by the manager.
- Defines the experimental programme that may include the development of new procedures/standards.
- To interpret data in order to make contributions to decisions in the work programme content, procedures or problem solution.
- May be responsible for the supervision of a small team, ensuring the activities are well organised and that the team meets its objectives and accountabilities.
- Report on work, including recommendations to project team or sub-project team leader.
- Ensure the quality of Evaluation and Development formulations by arranging for biological efficacy, toxicology and hazard assessment studies to be carried out in other Functions.
- Provide advice and recommendations to allow appropriate selection of formulation manufacturing sites for individual products, together with the product design inputs required to define the process equipment and quality assurance requirements.
- To provide a support service for solving problems associated with formulation chemistry encountered during the manufacture and use of products worldwide.
Requirements
- BSc or higher degree in Chemistry
- At least 2-5 years’ work experience in the similar formulation development role
- Ability to work effectively with the hub, regional and global F&P organisation
- Excellent operational, organizational, interpersonal and computer skills
