5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours
Location: South
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintenance of automated machines that are electrical and mechanically related, like conveyor systems
- Technical support to daily ops in warehouse
- Understand and identify problems from mechanical system components, eg: motors, VFDs, conveyor belts and structural fittings.
- Sourcing for spare parts locally if required for quick turnaround
- Coordinate and work with vendor(s) to rectify major component failure(s) on system
- Advise maintenance team on root cause of mechanical component failure and solution
- Assist and support colleagues when required
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements
- Automation engineering/mechanical engineering diploma
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- PLC (software and hardware) knowledge and experience will be advantageous
- VFD calibration experience will be advantageous
