Responsibilities
- Manage a team of superintendents in ensuring high level of maintenance for company managed vessels
- Overall supervision of running repairs/services, spare parts, vessel’s stores and lubricant supply.
- Ensure that the companies repair and planned maintenance policies for operations and dry-docking are effectively implemented
- Responsible for effective management of OPEX and CAPEX budgets for Technical department.
- Responsible for safe use of machinery and equipment and monitoring the operating performance and the current condition of vessels.
Requirements
- Seafaring Chief Engineering (COC1)
- Min 8 years related managerial experience in ship technical management
- Good operational knowledge on maintenance & repairs, investigation of machinery failures and compliance with class, flag and other regulatory/statutory requirements.
- Well versed with HSQE requirements and best practices
