Location: Kaki Bukit
Responsibilities
- Responsible to install and configure software, hardware and networks and monitor system performance efficiency
- Manage network servers and technology tools ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
- Set up accounts and workstations and maintain systems according to requirements and monitor the network and system security such as user login and logout
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls and upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Update Symantec Endpoint Antivirus Definition for servers and clients (SEPM) and build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
- Document and update system inventory for Network switches, Firewall, Servers and workstations
- Update windows security patches as per requirement and client request
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in system administration/ Network Administrator with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
- Professional certification (MCSA, CCNA) is preferred
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
