Responsibilities
- Articulate and execute a Sourcing roadmap that builds capabilities and resiliency needed for long-term growth and sustainability.
- Coordinate with all business segments globally to obtain the best outcomes across all locations, considering their long-range procurement needs.
- Ensure stakeholder alignment and coordination via clearly articulated governance processes, including defining roles and responsibilities, decision-making, communications and coordination mechanisms.
- Review opportunities across Ichor business segments to synergize and consolidates buys.
- Monitor and manage supplier relationships and key supplier performance metrics, including periodic audits and business reviews.
- Improve Ichor’s supplier management system and metrics to mitigate non-conformances, delivery delays, capacity constraints, and sub-tier business continuity risks.
- Lead the supplier identification, qualification & development process by validating supplier technical and operational capabilities, including First Article and or second sourcing activities.
- Drafts, negotiates, and executes long-term agreements and/or full-service supplier contracts, where appropriate, for assigned commodities; gains feedback and buy-in from appropriate departments such as legal, engineering, marketing, operations, quality, and senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering or MBA or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in ERP & PLM systems such as Oracle / SAP / Agile is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
