Location: Central
Responsibilities
- Perform system administration, support and maintenance of IT systems
- Monitor the performance and availability of the system components in production and test environments
- Setup new physical servers, installation and configuration of Unix OS and related services
- Plan, manage and install patches for OS, security and other software according to patch management process
- Work with Development, Testing, Application Maintenance, Incident and Problem Management teams to implement new changes in production, install new releases of existing applications and troubleshoot issues across all Production & Non-Production environments.\
- To design, install, and administer virtualisation (VMware and Hyper-V) product
- Advanced proficiency with vSphere, vSAN, Horizon and other VMware products and platforms.
- Excellent problem-solvers who can determine the main source of product issues and provide quick and effective solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience on Linux/VMware administration and tech support is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
