Location:  Central

Responsibilities

• Be part of our diverse, dynamic and multi-talented Iris Singapore’s Planning & Strategy team, working alongside other strategists from various backgrounds and of various seniorities
• Be an audience whisperer, getting under the skin of local customers – both at large and in particular audience groups, cultural niches or behavioural contexts
• Take ownership for all phases of client strategy – from client briefing and strategy development, guiding of creative development, to evaluating and presenting performance and optimisation
• Create insightful and impactful strategies which help our work stand out for its originality and ability to drive effective business results
• Become a trusted confidante of your clients – who are smart, driven and ambitious – by immerse yourself in their business, category, consumers
• Become a powerful ally to client services and creative department – working collaboratively to create effective work and a to ensure Iris is valued as an insightful and trusted partner.
• Conceive and lead proactive client initiatives alongside Strategy Directors and/or Business Leads that help keep our clients informed, inspired and motivated
• Work with various creative teams and leads to ensure we are pushing creative to new heights

Requirements

• Ideally you have 5-7 years experience of working in the Strategy or Planning department of a creative marketing agency, working alongside account management and creative departments
• You have a great understanding of brand strategy – you’re confident in demonstrating your ability to unearth insights across category, culture and consumer and revel in clarifying and framing the problem to inform a strategic responses or drive creative development
• You have a great understanding of comms planning – you’re confident in creating clear comms frameworks and campaign ecosystem that drive appropriately shaped creative concepts and help them come to life across an integrated spectrum of consumer touchpoints
• You are adept and artful at creating meaning from mess – in translating a client brief into creative brief or in the simplifying a complex context into a clear strategic narrative. You enjoy rolling up your sleeves to help define and solve problems by unlocking fresh creative and strategic approaches
