Location: West
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and prepare Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) for vendor’s proposals
- Liaise with other disciplines and departments to optimize areas of interface, during design development, review and checking processes
- Selection of piping materials, manual valves and special piping items
- Establishing methodologies, schedules and piping material take-off items
- Perform piping planning studies and assist in plot plan and line list developments
- Perform pipe stress analyses and produce reports using CAESARS II or other equivalent software
- Preparing technical queries and liaise with site personnel
- Review all piping design deliverables and documentation done by designers & drafters
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical or Mechanical engineering
- Minimum 10 years of piping design experience in Oil & Gas industry.
- Familiar with piping routing practices on pipe racks, sleepers, pumps, tanks, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, flares and etc.
- Energetic, flexible and innovative
