Location: Central
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, administer, monitor and troubleshoot IP network devices.
- Manage and administer LAN, WAN, internet, wireless, voice and unified communications.
- Perform regular AOS and firmware patching, bug-fixing and upgrading.
- Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, resource optimization and capacity planning.
- Evaluate, recommend and procure network hardware and software as required.
- Develop and maintain network system operation guides and procedures.
- Work closely and provide technical support to other IT teams as required.
Requirements
- Advanced Diploma or University degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Alcatel-Lucent AOS, Aruba wireless and Clearpass. IP PBX (OmniPCX Enterprise) Unified Communications is a plus
- Strong knowledge of IP technologies such as switching, routing protocols, ACL, QoS, SNMP, VRRP, GRE, 802.1x, RADIUS, TACACS, DHCP, DNS and load balancing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
