Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain group compliance policies and procedures to minimize the compliance risk.
- Draft, vet, review, negotiate and perfect various types of documents and contracts including master subscription agreements, data processing addenda, NDAs, payment agreements, financing, security and transaction documentation in support of businesses in Local and SEA.
- Review and identify legal or regulatory compliance issues concerning the business units and/or arising from the business activities, advise and provide commercial solutions to minimize legal risks and enable the management to make informed strategic decision within an acceptable risk.
- Establish mechanism to detect, report and correct violations and ensure minimal impact and optimal correction promptly.
- Advise business leaders about Group Whistle-Blowing, Forensics & Compliance Practices, Business Code of Conduct and Data Protection and Privacy Policies.
- Responsible to enhance the corporate governance practices, revise the relevant guidelines and authority matrix to be in consistent with headquarters’ processes.
- Provide support in the event of any disputes or potential disputes and litigation matters and conduct internal investigations.
- Responsible for establishment of the company’s compliance system, drafting of relevant policies.
Requirements
- Diploma in Law, LLB or similar legal qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Law Firm, with experience in relevant legal and compliance is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
