Quality Assurance Technician ( $1800-$3600/AWS/VB )

$3600 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: West

Responsibilities

• Perform First Article Test (FAT) and First Article Inspection (FAI).
• Perform incoming inspection and evaluate disposition for IQA non- conforming defect.
• Support Section Leader on planning for urgent jobs.
• Liaise with Section in-charge for any clarification related to works.
• Feedback issues to Section In-charge & seek help to solve the issues on daily basis.
• Carry out basic maintenance of measuring equipment such as Interferometers, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Smart Scope, Profile Projector and other small equipment (Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, Dial Indicator, etc), and monitor the calibration status.
• Undertake additional QA responsibilities as and when required and assigned (such as In-Process, Final Inspection, etc.).
• Create part programing for Coordinate Measuring Machine and Smart Scope.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience within manufacturing industry
• Prefer experience in Optics industry
• Proficiency in general Microsoft application including MS word and Excel
