Location: Islandwide
Responsibilities
- Managing the fleet of vehicles and drivers (both internal and contracted vendors), assigning of daily tasks/jobs to the team, deploying of drivers as per operational requirements and managing drivers’ rosters and schedules.
- Hire and train the driver fleet, as well as oversee vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Ensure fleet compliance with traffic regulations
- Maintain and enhance the quality of delivery services provided by own drivers and 3PL partners
- Able to work effectively with 3PL delivery partners
- Perform simple analytics backed by data to analyze and improve the efficiency of fleet operations and optimise costs
- Maintain (and where necessary, enforce) discipline within the fleet team, especially on adherence to operations SOPs
- Strong commitment to excellent customer service
Requirements
- Min 3 years of fleet management / transport experience
- Experienced or knowledgeable in logistics (especially last-mile delivery)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Excel and basic data) tools like SQL
- Possess Class 3 driving license
