Responsibilities
- To procure Rates and space negotiation with Ocean Carriers and marketing core carriers ocean’s products/trade lanes
- Keeping abreast of any updates ie schedules, rates, GRIs, contract agreements etc) from the Ocean carriers
- To be on the best rates landscape to be in a position to secure better rates and optimum space.
- Preparation of Reports forecast and Market Trends and update pricing & procurement teams
- Review and attend to RFI/RFQs jointly with various internal stakeholders.
- Assist with regards to rates and contract clarification/dispute, space issues with carriers and shipment tracking.
Requirements
- Min. diploma
- Min 2 years in freight forwarding industry pricing (FCL/LCL) experience
- Ability to engage with various internal and external stakeholders
- Possess strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
