Responsibilities
- Carryout 3D modelling / 2D design drawings base on the system specifications and functions provided with knowledge/understanding of the project requirements
- Generate Step Files and update of all Engineering drawings readily for fabrications base on design requirements
- Ensure that the mechanical design aligns with functionality and is feasible for manufacturing and installation, encompassing components such as pumps, piping, heat exchangers, and the cooling system
- Consult and research suitable materials and devices conforming to design guidelines for integration into the system
- Carry out installing, testing, and validating system modules to confirm Form, Fit, and Function of design components and assemblies
- Support the operation by performing tasks related to operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure the system is in a functional state
- Engage actively in team design meetings, contribute to project improvements, and participate in root cause analyses for various projects and developments
- Maintain and update comprehensive documentation on storage media and servers, ensuring accuracy, security, and current information
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in creating design drawings using SOLIDWORKS or similar 3D CAD software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
