MARINE TECHNICIAN ($2000-$2500/AWS/VB)ref: MT

$2500 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: Central

Responsibilities

• Assist with general mechanical repairs on board vessels or in workshops
• Check for mechanical defects by dismantling and troubleshooting
• Maintain mechanical spare parts by repairing and performing installation, training, troubleshooting, and repair of vessels
• Check alignment and reassemble mechanical components and test equipment to ensure smooth operation Provide local and regional application support for power protection equipment installed, commissioned, maintained, and supported by customers
• Ensure efficient and safe operation of the system by routine maintenance
• Provide technical advice and customer service solutions to customers, including training on equipment features
• Handle ship maneuvering systems and work on the main engine & auxiliary engines
• Perform COP Works, Cooler Works, Hydraulic Repairs, and any other assigned ad-hoc duties

Requirements

• NTC or Higher NTC in Mechanical or Marine related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with Marine rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
