Responsibilities
- Responsible for successful transfer of internal (R&D) and external client processes and analytical technologies, in partnership with site functions.
- Establish oversight to ensure production is performed in conformance with license requirements, regulations, site procedures and represent a state of compliance during Health Authority inspections.
- Establish, support and lead process monitoring and analytics to enable continuous improvement.
- Maintain lab operation to support tech transfers, and continuous improvement of the production processes and plant.
- Oversee and support the technical support for process-related investigations, product impact assessments, change control assessments, raw material qualification, etc.
- Provide fast-paced campaign support for manufacturing during technical production issues or escalations.
- Lead and support complex troubleshooting investigations and drive process improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical support to CellVec Manufacturing that includes process and product monitoring, master data and documentation management, compliance to quality systems, and other readiness operational support activities.
Requirements
- PhD or master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biology, with 10+ years of relevant experience in Process Development and/or Manufacturing.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Process Development, Automation, Quality, MSAT, or related disciplines
- Strategic thinking and self-initiation
