Responsibilities
- Perform Security Monitoring to provide timely detection, identification, and alerts of possible attacks/intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities
- Be familiar with and follow the cyber defense policies, procedures, and regulations of the client’s organisation;
- Identify and analyse anomalies in network traffic using metadata;
- Identify network mapping and operating system fingerprinting activities;
- Correlate and analyse network alerts from various sources within the enterprise and determine possible causes of such alerts;
- Perform analysis of log files from a variety of sources (e.g., individual host logs, network traffic logs, firewall logs, and Intrusion Detection System [IDS] logs) to identify possible threats to network security;
- Generate and provide advanced analysis and reporting on overall trends, events and incidents;
- Perform cyber defense trend analysis and reporting;
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IS, or IT related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience on SIEM/ Analytics in a SOC environment is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
