- Perform technical analysis, prepare electrical design basis and implement project planning of the complete electrical projects in particular for Medium Voltage (MV) projects serving building, water and industrial customers
- Define technical requirements and feasibility of a project.
- Collaborate with factory design engineers, contractors and suppliers
- Carry out interdisciplinary interface for Engineering with Sale team on Medium Voltage power transmission & distribution projects
- Daily responsibilities include offer preparation in technical specifications, drawing submission, coordinate process delivery terms and ensure project deliverables are on time
- Attend technical meetings with clients for design review, liaise with factory regarding customers’ requirements for development and design of new systems and products
- Work closely with customers, follow through projects and execute projects from conceptualization to the installation stage and ensure specifications are met according to relevant standards
- Attend site meetings and inspections, report regularly on progress and monitor project schedule
- Conduct testing and commissioning for completed installation projects with customers, consultants and sub-contractors
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering. Power System Engineering.
- At least 5 years of technical experience in the industrial applications of Medium Voltage equipment and associated systems
- Experience in project management, engineering design and testing & commissioning of MV substation electrical equipment, inverter system and technology.
