DIRECTOR OF LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT ($6500-$7500/AWS/VB)ref: AK

$7500 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: North

 

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead in communication and engagement of all employees in vision, mission, guiding principles and service culture, by planning and managing the learning and development function in accordance to L&D framework and policies.
  • Engage Executive Committee and Department Heads in conduct of TNA and review gaps identified in annual performance reviews to identify L&D priorities and build these into annual L&D plan.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop managers’ leadership skills and ensure all employees are trained on the needed skills to successfully perform their jobs in order to provide excellent service to guests.
  • Manage a team of Departmental Trainers, providing them with necessary coaching and development. Monitor and drive departmental L&D activities by holding regular Departmental Trainers meetings and conducting regular audits.
  • Plan, implement and review L&D activities for the hotel and individual departments and ensure that all activities are geared towards achievement of business goals.
  • Deliver L&D programmes in accordance to framework and standards set out.
  • Support the performance management process and cycle, development of high potentials colleagues via creation of personal development plans and succession planning of key positions.
  • Maintain proper inventory control

 

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree/Diploma in relevant fields or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
