Responsibilities
- Plan and execute direct material purchases timely to ensure materials availability on a global basis to meet delivery, inventory and speed objectives.
- ·Works with suppliers and commodity team to drive Supply Chain Speed improvements through improved lead-times
- Maintains purchasing parameter integrity (price, lead-time, order policy, etc.) in business systems
- Participates with various cross functional teams to drive improvement projects, performing data analytics, dashboard development, define and provide business recommendations.
Requirements
- Degree in relevant discipline
- Min 3 years of relevant purchasing experience of direct materials in a manufacturing environment
- Good working knowledge of MRP
- Proficiency with Oracle, JDE and Microsoft Office
