WORKPLACE SAFETY & HEALTH COORDINATOR ($2800-$3500/AWS/VB )ref: MT

$3500 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location: East

Responsibilities

• Coordinating with WSH officer on matters pertaining to environmental, safety and health of workplace
• Conducting daily WSH inspection to ensure total compliance to MOM regulations and recommend preventive measures
• Assisting WSH officer in incident/accident investigation and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence
• Conducting and reviewing risk assessments, safe work procedures and update risk register.
• Ensuring PTW supporting documents are valid and in place for operational performance
• Conducting daily toolbox meetings to provide information and instruction to workers before commencement of work
• Identifying unsafe acts and unsafe conditions practiced and created by workers and recommend preventive measures
•  Assisting in the implementation of the Safety Management System on the worksite

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in relevant fields
• At least 2 years relevant working experience
• Friendly, patient, good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible and proactive attitude.
