$6500 + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon – Fri, normal office hours

Location:  North

 

Responsibilities

  • Broad responsibility and leadership for overall operation of a value stream. Improves operation Lean Flow, ensure a safe work environment, maximize operation performance, drive quality improvements, develop a technically qualified work force, reduce operating costs, inventories and lead times through continuous improvements.
  • Plan, schedule and lead continuous improvement activities with related to the Merit Business Excellence System (MBES) with cross functional teams (Tech Team)
  • Oversee day-to-day activities to meet daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly objectives. Increases the ratio of value to non-value and eliminates waste within site operation and ensures that the value stream meets or exceeds customer requirements.
  • Responsible to lead and manage the Value Stream to ensure the sales fulfillment process has a predictable product supply to the customers as well as the work improvement and process optimization of operational flow and driving operational excellence
  • Responsible for the performance on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory (SQDCI).
  • To ensure that all operational activities are in compliance with the local laws and practices, and in conformance with all relevant company’s policies and procedures.
  • Manage resource, headcount and equipment utilization, spends control and inventory management.
  • Drives opportunities for continual improvement and drives Value Stream initiatives to support departmental goals in alignment to Plant’s vision, objectives and shared values.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
  • At least 3-5 years working experience in in a medical device assembly or similar manufacturing environment role and has exposure to Lean implementation in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good production management and engineering knowledge in molding / extrusion / automation / packaging / sterilization processes, and equipment. Exposure in plastic / polymer technology
  • Applied knowledge in operational management and good knowledge of human resource and financial management.
