Responsibilities
- Responsible in providing deep technical and business expertise with regards to the Data Analytics products
- To implement and manage data infrastructure including processing and analyzing data & data systems
- Coordinate with stakeholders to devise and recommend solutions based on the business requirement
- Understand big data use-cases and recommend standard design, implementation patterns used in big data deployment like Hadoop or Cloudera
- Analyze complex distributed production deployments and optimize performance
- In charge of technical documentation such as project documentation, knowledge transfer, customer status report, scopes of work
- Involved in pre-and post-sales processes to interpret customers’ requirements
- To keep abreast with Big Data ecosystem technologies
Requirements
- Min. Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a technical field
- Cloudera Certified Administrator (CCA) or Professional (CCP)
- Min. 2 years in architecting, designing and implementing a large-scale Cloudera / Hortonworks Data Platform
- Strong experience working on networking, distributed systems (servers and storage), Linux OS installation and administration and certified in Redhat (RHCE) or equivalent Linux certification
- Strong understanding with various enterprise security practices and solutions such as LDAP and Kerberos.
- Good experience on installation of relational database management systems (RDBMS) and database concepts.
- Scripting experience with Python, R or Java programming
