Responsibilities
- To observe the highest standards of ethics and integrity in undertaking Suppply Chain activity and act in a professional manner that supports the standing of core value.
- To negotiate with Suppliers and ensure that they meet on time deliver, cost reduction, delivery and service.
- Identify and resolve potential issues, resolutions and opportunities.
- To guide and ensure that all team members are well versed on procurement policies and supply chain procedures including logistics and warehousing.
- To negotiate contracts and rates, and overall value generation with shipping lines, freight forwarders, brokers and 3rd party logistic service providers. They must ensure appropriate compliance in export and import procedures specially those appointed freight forwarders and 3rd party logistic service providers.
- To conduct monthly capacity and performance analysis and provide forecast and schedules to production that are aligned on customer requirements.
- To conduct weekly/monthly Inventory reports to provide stakeholders with actionable data and insights regarding stock levels, inventory turns, risk involved like obsolescence, supply demand and shelf-life.
- To promote and implement cost reduction program through the continuous improvement and measure its effectiveness on departmental activities.
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in manufacturing operational is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
