Responsibilities

  • To provide the required leadership, direction and management for the overall Supply Chain (incorporating Purchasing, Supply Planning, Warehousing and Logistics), to deliver against annually agreed goals and objectives.
  • To maintain a coherent and standardized supply network, which is both flexible and scalable to meet the company’s growth ambitions. There is a strong drive towards supply chain excellence through continuous improvement initiatives and developing best practices.
  • This is an exciting opportunity for the incumbent to be exposed to various business functions, learning more about the end-to-end supply chain and to make an impact to the business.
  • Reporting to Regional Supply Chain Director, this role plans, directs and coordinates company product storage and distribution operations within a specific business or distribution centre.
  • Manages the transportation of goods and supplies, reviewing and recommending improvements to procedures to ensure on-time delivery of goods and supplies
  • Contributes to the formation of supply chain operational plans aligned to the wider supply chain strategy and local business plans; through specialist expertise and insights, positively challenges strategy to ensure it meets overall customer and business needs
  • Ensures an effective end to end supply chain process that meets all legal, regulatory and company policy requirements; creates and drives continuous improvement method and mindset
  • Delivers the local supply chain budget, including any complex analyses on budget progress required for completion; manages activity to budget

 

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Business Management or in any related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in data analytics or use of Business Intelligence (BI) tools, such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
