Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementing, reviewing and supporting development of a vendor risk framework including conducting periodic risk assessments.
- Support and validate Risk assessment and complete due diligence on all new third-party vendors / engagements prior to commencement of services.
- Provides thought leadership and works with management in the planning, development, and implementation of short- and long-range goals.
- Track results and generate appropriate weekly and monthly and quarterly reports to the reporting manager/customers and continuously monitor progress of KPIs.
- Implement policies and metrics to ensure savings goals are realized.
- Work with technical buyers, engineers, and management to identify new product needs. Identify new sources to meet business requirements & procurement needs.
- Creating and developing strong working relationships with key internal and external partners up to Executive levels to achieve strategic objectives of the company.
- Working with and leading cross-functional teams to execute sourcing initiatives from start to finish, including the competitive bidding process and contract negotiations.
Requirements
- Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Procurement & Supply Chain/ Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with early supplier involvement, supplier development and strategic project sourcing/purchasing is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
