- Provide on-going application support and be involved in all phases of the development life cycle from requirements gathering to production deployment
- Responsible in all matters related to application architecture, solutioning, design and implementation of enterprise systems, web applications or software
- Operates as Cloud expert and solution architect in the areas of Microservices, Docker, Docker Swarm / Kubernetes, CI / CD, Domain Driven Design and API Design
- Familiar with Model-View-Controller design, Data modelling, Deployment & Build management and Data migration
- Maintain technical standards and ensure adherence at all times for best practices, frameworks, software coding standards and guidelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to facilitate successful negotiation at work
- Work closely with Project Manager to ensure smooth operation
Requirements
- Degree in IT or equivalent
- With min. 5 year(s) of Java programming experience ie. Core Java, J2EE
- Experience in JEE servers such as WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss or Tomcat
- Knowledge of frameworks such as Spring
