Responsibilities
- To monitor customers’ network traffic to identify security incidents that impacts the customer’s environment
- Responsible to conduct initial investigations & security analysis on security incident alerts including Firewall, IDS/IPS, Anomaly detection systems and user behaviour analytics
- Provide timely response to security alerts and incidents (within documented SLA) with the use of security software tools
- To escalate security incidents that impacts to customer’s environment to End-Users via email and phone calls
- To follow up on security incidents with the End-User to ensure security incidents raised are responded and closed as accordingly
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in IT / Computer Science / Cyber Security or Related
- Min. 2 year experience in a SOC operations (24×7) environment will be advantageous
- Experience in fine-tuning of security events/alerts on SIEM platform
- Understanding of threats reported by security devices such as Firewalls with IDS/IPS capabilities and Proxy etc
