Responsibilities
- Design, develop, install, qualify and industrialize new manufacturing equipment, mainly new vision systems equipment
- Design and develop automated systems and full vision systems applications, including hardware and software integration, and associated equipment
- Generate specifications for new equipment or for major improvements of existing equipment
- Identify and select the vision cameras, lenses and lightings needed for vision inspection
- Perform setting up and commissioning of the equipment, including buy-off and acceptance tests
- Prepare Qualification Plans and overview industrialization phases
- Ensure projects are done in accordance with schedule, cost and quality performances
- Design and implementation of control systems, including vision systems at various manufacturing processes
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering / Mechatronics or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of vision algorithms and vision software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
