Location: West
Responsibilities
- Monitor vessels and landside equipment’s technical maintenance & certification.
- Work with procurement to consolidate required repairs & within technical budgets.
- Work with Procurement to purchase spare parts
- Check status of PMS system related to expired planned maintenance and scheduling of works
- Control sharing of machinery running hours where machinery redundancy is available.
- Coordinating and scheduling vessel class/statutory inspections
- Plan corrective repairs of revealed deficiencies, failures, and non-conformities raised from vessel inspection.
- Supervise dry-docking, substantial repairs, verify Classification society, measurement records, invoices.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Matronic/Marine Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Basic understanding of electrical line drawings and electrical systems onboard vessels is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
