Responsibilities
- Oversee and upkeep the maintenance of Windows server, Microsoft AD, Outlook 365.
- Administration and configuration of servers and network infrastructure comprising switches, routers, firewalls, wireless components as well as other network equipment and devices.
- Establish/Setup network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
- Secure network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Provide periodic reporting for capacity planning.
- Protects system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.
- Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities; reporting violations.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of VMware and/or Hyper-V is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
