Responsibilities
- Help the C-Suite make the best decisions through research, analysis, and outlining possible scenarios & options. From conducting competitor analysis on a newly emerging fintech vertical, to creating a plan for hiring a senior role, or benchmarking the compensation frameworks of leading tech companies.
- Lead special initiatives that are important to the company, and which can’t live within an existing Ascenda function because they are so broad or new in nature
- Support development of the strategy and roadmap for new initiatives and subsequently drive these through execution and completion.
- Align internal and external stakeholders to deliver common goals. This includes crafting compelling communication materials and presentations for the Ascenda teams, board of directors, investors and strategic partners.
- Facilitate well-run cross-functional discussions and monitor progress on action items, help pick owners and provide project management support for the execution of the plans of the C-Suite
- Define and track big picture objectives and key results across all teams and verticals
- Develop high quality processes to improve how we operate and drive culture company-wide.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements
- Equipped with at least 5 years experience, preferably in management consulting, business finance or marketing / product management. Top-tier consulting firm background is a plus.
- A curious generalist, who enjoys taking on challenges of all kinds
- Very strong at structured thinking and writing, with an ability to design compelling storylines and craft visually powerful slides to bring them to life
- Strong at project management, with detail-oriented execution and a sense of urgency to drive actions to completion
