Location: West
Responsibilities
- Lead/execute projects from conception to deployment on autonomous vehicles
- Lead technical debates and build consensus for solutions
- Planning of software development, sensor fusion, LiDAR, Radar, testing, analysis and validation of the results.
- Understanding of sensor characteristics and limitation
- Own the full life cycle of new features development from proof of concept stage to on-car software integration by coordinating with the downstream teams
- Collaborate to design, implement, optimize and test the onboard software pipeline for lidar perception
- Collaborate with other teams, including object detection, navigation planning-control, ML data service and systems engineering teams
- Conduct code reviews and guide junior team members on code quality, correctness and efficiency
Requirements
- PhD, Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working on Robotics, or Autonomous system is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
