Location: East
Responsibilities
- Measure and prepare tender documentation and negotiation with contractors
- Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor Manager to estimate cost and quantity take-off
- Source for quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors, etc.
- Deal with significant contractual issues including extension of time, loss and expense claims, terms and conditions, etc.
- Evaluate and process vendors claims
- Prepare monthly progress claims and finalize project accounts
- Assist Project Manager in the pre-contact and post-contact of projects
- Verification of sub-contractor payment and final account
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Familiar with local standards, project implementations & building codes is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
