Responsibilities
- You will drive implementation of category and supplier strategy for spares, consumables and maintenance for all assembly equipment, test handling and MSP with estimated yearly spend of EUR80m or more depending on the demand trend.
- Develop and implement commodity and supplier strategy, establish commodity and supplier strategy with alignment from operations and drive implementation together with relevant stakeholders and suppliers.
- Conduct commodity sourcing for new development and alternative source.
- Sourcing of global market for best supplier and solution that fulfill Infineon’s product requirements while ensuring security of supply.
- Undertake cost analysis, cost modelling and benchmarking of managed commodity.
- Develop good understanding of commodity cost model to enable comprehensive value analysis and comparison amongst suppliers’ offerings.
- Perform analysis of supply market and develop market intelligence. Consistent survey of market status and provide recommendation to management to take relevant actions according to market trends
- Responsible for supplier management and development, ensuring proper implementation of supplier management process including phase in/out, evaluation, consequence and relationship management with site Purchasing.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree qualification in Engineering, Business, Logistics and Supply Chain or similar disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in strategic procurement role within a fast-phased industry sector, and at least 8 years’ experience in semiconductor industry.
- Possess strong strategic and analytical mindset with good communication skill to build wide business network internally and externally independently in driving success of category and supplier strategy.
- Highly collaborative, solution driven mindset and agile approach in managing undertakings and projects
