Responsibilities
- Report to Senior Legal Counsel in diverse portfolio of corporate secretarial matters
- Liaise and coordinate with Senior Management, Shareholders and Directors in regard to all corporate secretarial matters.
- Draft and prepare resolutions and other relevant documents.
- Assist to arrange for Notary Public for notarization, authentication, and legalization of documents.
- Support review of contracts and legal documents including those related to marine construction, charterparties, trade (sales, purchase, rental),tenders, financing and collaboration agreements
- Rendering of legal advice for commercial application and compliance requirements
- Review and advise on litigation or potentially litigations cases including issuing internal legal notices of demand
Requirements
- Diploma in law, LLB or similar legal qualification
- Min 3 years relevant experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess strong drafting, negotiation, and legal analytical skills for commercial application
- Experience with marine construction, tender and charterparties is a plus
