Location: North
Responsibilities
- Analyse, design, develop, implement and maintain application systems to support the schemes
- Provide support to users of the IT application systems
- Lead the project or assist the Project Manager to conceptualize, design, development and implement IT Projects
- Perform hands on development, conduct unit/system testing to ensure application confirm to user requirements.
- Able to perform code reviews and ensure code quality in terms of standard programming
practices and software frameworks. - Liaising with end-users when required and provide update on support queries raised by users
- Debugging/troubleshooting of application issues by checking logs from servers
- Develop Restful Web Services in J2EE using JAX-RS and other libraries. Strong understanding of the web services architecture and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Java, but ideally have broad full stack experience is a plus
- knowledge in Java/J2EE in design, development and maintenance of application systems
