Responsibilities
- In the project phase, assisting to establish project objectives, procedures, data collection and performance standards for all plant facility equipment from the contractors/ vendors, new facilities start-up and hook-up to support production for facilities acceptance.
- Working with selected facility equipment contractors/ vendors to ensure construction activities are within the project schedule timeline, punch listing and ensure all issue is addressed and completed.
- Involved in the validation of supporting systems for building infrastructure issues, electrical distribution, fire safety equipment, plumbing, and plant generator set/ UPS system.
- Sustain manufacturing facilities operation in the plant’s automation and instrumentation control with experience in Building structure, office equipment, IT infrastructure support and managing chemical storage system, waste collection and treatment system.
- Ensure the facility maintenance and budget are managed and contractors’ completion within the planned schedule, establish/ recommended necessary parts and ensure adequate for repair and maintenance.
- Assist the Facilities Manager in all aspect of operations and building maintenance
- Coordinate with the team on various facility matters and assist in various operations issues
- Assist to monitor the efficient operation of the building’s systems and equipment
Requirements
- Diploma/ Degree in Engineering or Building Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge in Facility management for manufacturing/ chemical plants is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
