Location: North
Responsibilities
- Develop the implementation and test strategies for volume manufacturing for new product/improvement/sustaining projects.
- Collaborate with other functional engineering teams locally and globally to meet the overall product requirements.
- Research new technology and its suitable implementation in the product line.
- Interact optimally and provide technical support to local and overseas manufacturing facilities, procurement teams, and sales & marketing organizations.
- Put in place systems, processes, tools and resource capability in local EE team and lab to ensure project objectives are met within agreed timeline, budget, and appropriate standards that aligns with the business goals.
- Ensures compliance of workplace safety rules, including but not limited to wearing required personal protective equipment while working, avoiding any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger peers or oneself, reporting unsafe work conditions, and providing suggestions to improve safety/ health at work.
- Prepare reports as required by management
- Maintain proper inventory control
Requirements
- Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity to standards: EMC, hazardous location, functional safety, as well as ISO9001 is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
