Responsibilities
- Develop a sourcing/supply plan which has the capacity to fulfill the demand for new tires across BSCAP whilst meeting our targets in relation to quality and margin and taking into consideration conversion cost, raw material supply, technical abilities, warehousing and transportation requirements, import/export regulations, tariffs, duties, etc.
- Develop developing a sourcing/supply plan to meet the demand for new tires from other SBUs meeting their targets in relation to quality and cost.
- Create budget & mid/long-term planning for the supply and allocation to ensure that future production and supply capacity could be secured to meet the demand of the markets.
- Create regional demand & supply position to ensure consistency locally and globally.
- Improve supply flexibility with initiating swing size preparation and monitor trial progress and SOP (Start of Production) date.
- Lead common planning database development and enhance planning data management
- Support the Strategic Planning lead in formulating the relevant business processes related to mid/long-term supply planning to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Support AM/Manager with managing stakeholders from Manufacturing and CAPTC to resolve mid/long-term supply constraints and Sales & Marketing and Corporate Planning to improve planning processes
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Industrial & Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- Possess 5 – 7 years of relevant working experience in supply planning in a manufacturing environment.
- Experiences in liaising with manufacturing plants in the Asia Pacific region would be added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
