Responsibilities
- Develop the finance function into an increasingly trusted steward of the corporation’s capital resources and chief guardian of its reputation
- High potential and high performing individuals will be posted to Operating Companies as part of their Finance development path
- Manage and streamline day-to-day accounting of entities across multiple jurisdictions and oversee the Accounts Payable function
- Improve cycle time for accurate month end closing, year-end closing, tax return filings and preparation of the financial reporting
- Manage the year-end audit process efficiently
- Produce quarterly Group performance packs that provide insightful historical and forward-looking management information to Chairman and Senior Management
- Strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge and ensure consistent application across the Group
- Global tax planning and legal structuring to effectively manage tax exposure and ensure compliance to global standards
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in relevant fields
- Minimum 8-10 years of financial accounting/auditing experience.
- Have a practical, hands-on, can-do attitude
- Great team member and have great team spirit
