Responsibilities
- Build and provide market Intelligence for commodity trends, build accurate budgets, cost models, and develop risk mitigation plans for the business
- Alignment of category strategies with business strategies from the global/regional and respective local units. Alignment achieved through interaction with regional Procurement and regular engagement with Regional and local leadership
- Engage in process standardization and change management efforts while creating true alignment & integration internally and externally maintaining both internal stakeholder relationships and external supplier relationships
- Maintain proper inventory control and prepare reports as required by management
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in relevant fields
- 5 years in Purchasing/Supply Chain environment with appropriate business experience
- Purchasing experience in the food category and agricultural commodities
- Project management, execution of large, multiple, or cross-functional projects
