Location: Islandwide
Responsibilities
- work as a contract engineer / quantity surveyor
- handling the daily tasks with regards to administration of construction contractor(s) in the project,
- review and draft variations, review new unit rates, coordinate the cost of variations with the disciplines,
- distribution of monthly quantities to disciplines for approval and then follow-up it,
- checking the status of variations with disciplines,
- able to review drawings and take off quantities from drawings,
- update online data base of the cost (invoice and variations),
- report to the Subcontracts Manager and support on all post award activities regarding contractual, legal and commercial issues and should preferably have experience in analyzing cost and time impact of variations.
Requirements
- BSc/BA Degree in Engineering (mechanical / civil)
- Minimum years of experience: 5+
- Proficient in the use of MS Office products to include detailed experience with MS Excel/pivots,
- Problem solving skills; takes a new perspective on existing solutions,
