Location: North
Responsibilities
- Sources and prepares information for participation in tender exercise including
- Prepares plans and documents for quotations to suppliers that will be used as basis for pricing
- Obtains, compiles and evaluates quotations from the respective suppliers/vendors according to tender requirements
- Prepares bill of quantities which involves quantity take-off, materials sourcing, measuring and estimating material and labor costs used in the tendering process
- Carries out the detailed breakdown pricing in the excel spreadsheet
- Review and interpret Contract Documents with recommendation for contractual dispute
- Assist in administration of Extension of Time claim
- Source, negotiate and procure trade packages in compliance with requirement and time schedule including drafting of Subcontract Document
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
