Location: East
Responsibilities
- Sustain and strengthen the Quality Management System.
- Deploy and sustain an effective internal Quality Audit system.
- Lead and drive Quality deployment such as PFMEA, mistake proofing, PPAP, First Article Inspection, Component Proving, Statistical Process Control, Control Plans, etc. to build and promote a Zero Defects culture.
- Improve and sustain site Quality performance (escape, COPQ, Right First Time).
- Maintain strong communication with customers, internal management team, and vendors to ensure quality level meets expectations.
- Monitor and analyze process/product outputs, identify systemic problem/opportunity areas, provide data to the divisional team(s), and work with team members to drive process improvement to work toward zero-defect quality performance.
- Actively participate in the Quality Council team to share/take back company best practices.
- Lead robust Root Cause Investigation and drive effective preventive action implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Quality tools & techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
