Location: Central
Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the effective management and control of all procurement activities
- To closely monitor the market and industry trends to foresee supply and demand, pricing trend
- Develop and implement procurement strategies
- Regularly and proactively source for new suppliers for better quality products, payment terms, and competitive pricing
- Ensure overall quality and quantity management of stock, cost, product range, turnover, regulatory and compliances
- Work with the retail stores to demand planning and ordering of inventory
- Evaluate and negotiate contract terms on pricing and product quality
- Conduct verification and match delivery order, purchase order, and other documentation for Finance processing
Requirements
- Diploma in Purchasing/ Logistics / Supply China or relevant field. Non-diploma holders with relevant experience in the Retail industry specifically the mobile phone and accessories trade will be considered
- Minimum 2 years experience in FMCG
- Proficiency in MS Office (Especially Excel)
- Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of vendor sourcing practices
